Career Conundrum

Very few people could deny knowing at least one person who stumbled aimlessly from one job to another for years before finally settling in a profession not related in any way to their academic background. While students in the West seem to know exactly what fields to pursue and what fields will prove rewarding to them, an absence of clear career goals seems to be prevalent in this part of the world, with far too many people engaged in professions toward which they feel neither attachment not affection.
